Just wanted to share with all of my friends that I have been working on my photography lately. I havent scrapbooked or made a card in forever. I made one card for my best friends shower and then forgot it at home lol. I have a photography blog that is currently my active blog. www.growingframes.blogspot.com. I would love to hear your guys suggestions on my work as I grow and learn. I have been so involved with my camera that I even contemplated selling my copics. Lol not yet though. Well the move is officially OVAH. dum dum dum. Yay. Thank goodness because its cold and blowy out there. We are off to WEM for three days of rest and relaxation and most importantly.....INDOOR SHOPPING. Thats right, no leaving the mall at all hahahah take our stuff to our room and keep on shopping. I love WEM. Anyhow I thought I would share a couple of pics with you before I leave of our winter weather. See ya soon.

Bella Birthday Project

Ok so we all know that its Stamping Bella's 3rd bday on Monday and of course there was a most amazing hop today to celebrate. Scroll down to see more on that. There was also a contest for a project involving any line that they have. Well when I heard the word project I was like hmmmm...... lets make something not a card. I have never ever attempted to incorporate stamps before other than on cards so it was definitely outside the box for me. I think I might add some ribbon for garland and get rid of the glitter on the numbers. I also have different colored paper tiles for the other number that I might use instead. Anyways hope you like it. Jury's still out for me. Lol.

Oh my goodness look who is turning three on Monday. To celebrate the wonderful sistahs from Stamping Bella have organized a most bodacious blog hop for their 3rd birthday. Did someone mention prizes? Octobers Favorite Stamping Bella Stamper

Well I just finished my case a card for October's Favorite stamper on Splitcoast for Stamping Bella. Whats a Bella you ask? Well you can find that out here. And a link to the card gallery of our favorite stamper Jami can be found here Jami's Gallery. This is my card that I cased from this lovely ducky here. I changed three things. I never matted anything on the face of the card instead I chose to use some textured magic mesh. The metallic bronze paper was too lovely to hide. I changed the textured circle punches to conchos, what a pain these are but i love how it turned out. And finally I used ricrac instead of an organza. Hope you like.

Just a quick note today. I have been planning a trip for my lovely almost 13 year old daughter to go to the University of Warwick England for a 2 week summer program on creative writing and comparitive literature. The program had oringinally been scheduled to run at the U of A in Edmonton but because of H1N1 it had to be cancelled or changed. So she is off to England. Woohoo honey congrats.

So our lovely Sparkle at SCS wanted us to make a card using 7 layers and 3 embellies and this is what I came up with. It was fun and the first time I have ever actually sewn on a card front. Wasnt so hard once I actually attempted it.

Well its 1030 and I have both youngsters in bed, oh guess what Daddy wasnt home tonight so it made getting wee man into bed so much easier. Tomorrow I plan on working on SCS's sketch challenge and I finished another card tonight although I am a little disappointed with the distressing on the edges. Its supposed to be sorbet to match the background paper but its a bit off. Oh well hope you enjoy.

So I recently found two websites that have caused myself financial hardship lol. Ok ok not too much hardship but I found myself spending my scrapbooking budget for May on April 28th lol. I absolutly love stamping bellas website. Love all their stamps and cant wait for my order to arrive. This week i have an order coming in from CTMH, one from Bellas and some more copics from Currys.com. LOL but now I need new ink. Silly me didnt make certain that the ink she had would work with her copics. Should i drive the hour and a half to get just a pad of ink I think not. Mark would kill me lol. Kaelin is down for a nap and kerric is off with papa. I think I will go play with shading my markers. Hopefully i will figure out how to post cards later.
